Mark Poitras, CHFC® has been a professional within the financial services industry for nearly 20 years and a multi-year Five Star Wealth Manager designee. With a focus on compliance and wealth management, Mark believes that providing excellent and ongoing service is essential for maintaining client relationships, discovering new opportunities and helping clients achieve their financial goals.

After earning a Bachelor Degree in Music from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 1993, Mark worked as a software engineer within the financial services industry prior to joining his father, Richard Poitras, at Wellesley Financial Group in 2005. "What really drew me to this career is the longevity of client relationships, the family-oriented atmosphere and the level of importance of protection we help our clients achieve." After his father's retirement and merger of Wellesley Financial Group with the Bulfinch Group in 2015, Mark has continued to experience the growth of that family and the ever-increasing importance of those client relationships.

Living and having grown up in the South Shore of MA with his wife Sumio, daughter Sarah and son Mark Jr, Mark enjoys music, the arts, hiking, guitar collecting and outdoor music festivals in his spare time.
